Vice President of the European Commission Viviane Reding and Minister for Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht Jimmy Deenihan in chance meeting at Irish Artists for Haiti Auction launch.

During her visit to Dublin this week on EU Presidency business, the Vice President of the European Commission Viviane Reding took some time out to drop into the city’s Solomon Fine Art Gallery. Coincidentally, Ireland’s Minister for Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht happened to be there too.  Jimmy Deenihan TD was launching the Irish Artists for Haiti Auction which aims to help Haitians to develop sustainable futures after the 2010 earthquake.
